Sin embargo, llevar un estilo de vida saludable, especialmente a trav\u00e9s de la alimentaci\u00f3n, ha demostrado ser la mejor estrategia para prevenir y tratar este tipo de patolog\u00edas.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"478\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 es tan importante la alimentaci\u00f3n?<\/h3><p data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"729\">Seg\u00fan los \u00faltimos estudios, una alimentaci\u00f3n deficiente es responsable de m\u00e1s muertes que el tabaquismo. En particular, una dieta rica en sodio y pobre en cereales integrales, frutas y verduras es uno de los mayores factores de riesgo cardiovascular.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"783\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 cambios podemos hacer en nuestra dieta?<\/h3><p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1093\">\u2705 <strong data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"821\">Reducci\u00f3n de grasas saturadas:<\/strong> Aunque las grasas saturadas no se consideran tan da\u00f1inas como antes se pensaba, reducir su consumo y sustituirlas por grasas saludables (poliinsaturadas y monoinsaturadas) o carbohidratos integrales se asocia con una menor probabilidad de sufrir eventos cardiovasculares.<\/p><p data-start=\"1095\" data-end=\"1309\">\u2705 <strong data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1138\">Evitar los alimentos ultraprocesados:<\/strong> M\u00e1s que las grasas saturadas en s\u00ed, los alimentos que las contienen (como los ultraprocesados) parecen ser los verdaderos culpables del aumento del riesgo cardiovascular.<\/p><p data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1711\">\u2705 <strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1359\">Seguir patrones de alimentaci\u00f3n saludable:<\/strong> Las dietas que promueven el consumo de cereales integrales, frutas, verduras, legumbres y frutos secos han mostrado reducir significativamente el riesgo cardiovascular. En particular, la <strong data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1569\">dieta mediterr\u00e1nea<\/strong>, las <strong data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1598\">dietas vegetarianas<\/strong> y la <strong data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1618\">dieta DASH<\/strong> cuentan con la mayor evidencia cient\u00edfica en la prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades cardiovasculares.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1731\">Conclusi\u00f3n<\/h3><p data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1978\">No existe un alimento \u201cmilagroso\u201d, pero s\u00ed un patr\u00f3n alimentario que, junto con la actividad f\u00edsica y el descanso, puede proteger tu coraz\u00f3n y mejorar tu calidad de vida.
